On January 3, Alaska State Troopers responded to a multiple vehicle collision near mile 60 of the Parks Highway near the Zero Lake Road Intersection. Slick cold conditions are believed to be the factors. Medics ground transported 2 of the 3 people involved to the nearest hospital while the 3rd person was medevaced.
